Thank you for all the support during the launch of Hotlist 2.0. It seems that asking our users what they wanted out of the Hotlist platform paid off as we’ve been receiving amazing press.
Also, thank you to our users who have provided invaluable feedback over the past couple weeks. As with any new app with this many features and capabilities, there are bound to be a few bugs and imperfections. Your feedback has helped us catch bugs early and smooth over the system as it was strained under the sudden influx of many new users. We encourage you to keep the feedback coming. With your help, we’re going to make Hotlist the premiere platform that people use to plan their social lives!

After months of development, design, and late night coffee runs, we’re proud to be launching:
In addition to a sleeker, more intuitive web interface with awesome new features, we have unveiled a completely revamped Hotlist iPhone app that’s available for free in the iTunes store. We love being the location-based social discovery platform that’s your crystal ball into the future, and we’re excited to add Planner to the formula. Planner lets you coordinate with friends easier than ever before.
With over 110 million people’s plans in our system, we’re getting even better at leveraging the power of social media to encourage real world interaction. Here are some of the useful and downright fun capabilities we’ve added:
* Take virtual peeks into venues in advance to see Facebook profile photos of the expected crowds, event details, and which of your friends are planning to be there.
* See what your Facebook friends are planning throughout the week.
* Quickly and easily coordinate with friends using Planner – even if they’re not on Hotlist.
* Follow friends, places, and events to receive personalized social recommendations.
* View the expected guy-to-girl ratio at a place before you go.
* Always know where to be.

Hotlist is a location-based platform that makes it easy for friends to coordinate get-togethers and follow the People, Places and Interests they care to stay in the social loop with, through forward looking notifications.
By following Friends, Places and Interests, personalized notifications are delivered to each user that keep them updated on relevant social plans and in the social loop.
Easily coordinate plans via smartphone app or the web. Friends can easily select the most convenient time and place for everyone to meet up, making finalizing the “when and where” a breeze.
In sum, the new Hotlist is going to be pretty awesome. If you want early access, email gianni at hotlist dot com for an exclusive sneak peek.
